Daniel Lee O’Donnell, age 80, of Manassas, VA passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 after a long struggle with cancer. He was born on March 12, 1937 in Clifton Springs, NY the son of the late James and Alice (Murray) O’Donnell. He served in the US Navy and was a Communications Expert for the C.I.A. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, an avid bowler and a member of the American Legion. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita A. O’Donnell. They enjoyed 44 years of marriage. Survivors include his children, Kelly O. Murphy and husband Tom of Manahawkin, NJ and Kevin P. O’Donnell and wife Maureen of Bristow, VA; two brothers, James O’Donnell of Chiefland, FL and Edward O’Donnell of Towanda, PA; one sister, Joan Babb of The Villages, FL; 4 grandchildren, Lauren M. O’Donnell, Sullivan L. O’Donnell, Daniel K. Murphy and Madison K. Murphy.
