With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Daniel Danny Joseph Gerding. Family and friends will miss his kind heart and giving soul. He was a renaissance man who lived true to himself. Dan found peace and contentment in the earth’s natural rhythms and had an abiding love of all animals. Ever busy, Dan spent his talent and time creating art, through stone, wood or canvas, fixing and repurposing anything, and tending his garden.Dan enjoyed his time hiking, with Timber Island in Maine being one of his favorite places. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
