Daniel J. Pabian, 58, of Oglesby, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Mr. Pabian was born on January 16, 1956, in Chippewa Falls, WI.
He married Kathy Day on April 15, 1978, in Holy Family Church in Oglesby. Mr. Pabian was a hard-working family man and he loved his motorcycle. He was employed at Pabian Enterprises. He was a witty man. He enjoyed camping. He had a heart of gold, opening his home and heart to anyone in need. He was a member of the DILLIGAF Club.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; three children, Kevin (Brandy) Day, Brandi Pabian, and Sara (Justin) Bickford all of Oglesby; six grandchildren, Aaron, Devyn, Shelby, Allexa, Lylian, and Joshua; four sisters, Jeana (Jesse) Samples of Texas, Colleen Costa of Eau Claire, WI, Chris (Don Piscia) Pabian of Oglesby and Marti (Dave) Freund of Woodstock; three brothers, Mike (Barbara) Thornton of Montgomery, Steve (Barbara) Pabian of Oglesby and Jeff (Jean) Pabian of Ottawa and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Martha (Farnetti) Pabian; one sister, Claire Thornton, and one brother, Pat Thornton.
