Daniel Forrest Allis, 68, passed away on November 15, 2019 in Colorado Springs, CO. Dan was born on October 24, 1951 and adopted by godly parents, Thomas and Mary Katherine (Hunter) Allis in Louisville, KY. A graduate of Butler High School (1970) and Anderson College (1977), he knew from a young age that he was called to spend his life as a pastor and counselor.
Dan’s children were the light of his life. He loved the Colorado mountains, playing his guitar, photography, and his dog, Reagan Liberty. A collection of his creative works and ministry can be found at .
He is survived by his children Josiah and Molly K Allis, former spouse of 37 years, Bonnie Shelton, sister Velda Ruth Rogers, brother-in-law Kenneth Cooper, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sister, Treva Cooper and parents, Thomas and Mary Katherine Allis.
