                Parker City- Daniel R. “Danny” Tomey, 78, passed away Late Tuesday evening, April 4, 2017, at the Parker City Health Care Center following an extended illness.  He was born on, August 21, 1938, in Muncie, the son of Don LaVern Tomey and Georgia Louise (Asdell) Tomey.

                Danny is a 1955 graduate of Muncie Central High School and later married the love of his life, Wanda (Clark) Tomey on, August 23, 1959, in Muncie and she survives.  Mr. Tomey entered in the United States Army in 1961 and proudly served with the 531st Transportation Company at Ft. Riley, Kansas during the Vietnam War era as a Specialist 4th grade.  He had worked for A-1 Alignment, the Elton Alignment and Auto Body prior to his owning and operating AAA Wheel Alignment in Muncie.  Danny collected antique railroad lanterns, was ASE Certified as a Mechanic, enjoyed bowling, hunting, golfing and riding his Harley Davidson.  Mr.

                Besides his wife of 57 years, Wanda, he is survived by three sons, John Tomey (wife-Susan), West Bend, Wisconsin, Steve Tomey and Darin Tomey (wife-Lori), both of Muncie; eight grandchildren, Joshua , Alyssa , Matthew , Noah, Levi, Jacob, Josh and Sarah; two brothers, Don Wayne Tomey (wife-Ruth), Farmland and Randy Tomey (wife- Joan), Muncie; one sister, Beverly Williams, Muncie; several nephews.

                He was preceded in death by his parents.
