Daniel Bryan Holland, age 29 years of Niles, Michigan died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 of natural causes.

He was born on December 30, 1989 in South Bend, Indiana to David Bryan and Anita Sue (Chlebowski) Holland.  He was graduated from Niles High School where he played football and baseball, and managed the basketball team.  He earned his Associates Degree from Lake Michigan College where he played baseball as a catcher.  He was currently employed at NCP Coatings, Inc. in Niles.

Daniel was raised in the Catholic Church, and had been a member of the Saint Joseph Valley Lodge #4, F. & A.M.  His earlier high school and collegiate sporting activities lead to his continuing interest in sports, golfing at area courses and watching the Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings on television.  But his greatest interest was the University of Notre Dame Football team.  His parents remember him singing the Fighting Irish Victory March before he could walk, and being frustrated that he was born the year after Notre Dame’s last National Championship, but looking forward to experiencing the next one.  He maintained a scrapbook of the tickets for the games he attended including several valuable tickets from remarkable games.

Daniel is survived by his parents, David and Anita Holland of Niles; his brother, Shawn Joseph Holland of Niles; a grandmother, Maureen Holland of Mishawaka, Indiana; six aunts, four uncles, and many cousins; a great circle of wonderful friends; and his beloved dog, Finley and cat, Emjay.
