Daniel was born in Cass Lake, MN on January 8th, 1976 to Ernest and Donna (Rushman) Johnson.  He had a kind heart.  Daniel was a big kid at heart with a contagious sense of humor, laugh and smile.  Daniel was always smiling, no matter the circumstance.  He enjoyed attending powwows where he was a traditional dancer.  Before his illness, Daniel enjoyed playing softball, ricing, bough picking, making wreaths and just being outdoors.  He loved being with his daughter, Alyssa; as well as hanging out with his nieces and nephews.  Daniel was known for his Mac soup and he loved his moms frybread.  He is eternally loved and will be missed dearly.
