Attorney Daniel B. Swan, 60, of Hopedale, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 in his home after a period of poor health. He was the husband of Cynthia Stevens.
Mr. Swan was born in Quincy, a son of the late Dr. Daniel and Pauline (Gaines) Swan. He grew up in Quincy and attended Tabor Academy and the University of Colorado Denver. He earned his law degree at New England School of Law and was a practicing attorney with the law firm of Ricker & Ricker of Shrewsbury for 30 years. He was also a former co-owner of the Rose Garden Lounge in Upton.
In addition to his wife of 27 years, he leaves three daughters, Taryn and Jeanette Swan of Hopedale, and Emily Swan of NY; a sister, Carol Swan of NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late David, Nancy, and Jonathan Swan.
