Dana E. Hicks age 74 of Ashland, passed away Saturday March 27,2010 at Brethren Care Village.
Born on December 2, 1935 in Newton West Virginia, the son of Darrell and Esta Mae (Runyans) Hicks.
Mr. Hicks was a resident of Ashland for thirty four years. He had been employed as a Steel Worker and also as a farmer.
Mr. Hick was married to Wavelean U. McCune who preceded him in death in 2006.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Tenna (Perry) Smith of Loudonville, Mrs. Deanna (William) Paterson of Ashland and Mrs. Anita (Robert) Martin of Ashland. One son, Dwight Hicks of Ashland also survives.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren
In addition to his wife , Wavelean. Mr. Hicks is preceded in death by one daugher, Rhonda Lee Hicks.
Mr. Hicks was a member of the Rowsburg Church of the Nazerene.
