Dan was born in Paterson, NJ. He was the youngest of 3 children; his sisters, Rose and Mary, predeceased him. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War as an artillery specialist. After leaving the military, Dan worked in the printing industry for over 40 years. He and his wife, Martha, were married for 65 years before her passing in 2019. In New Jersey, he served on the local Board of Education. The family moved to Colorado in 1971. He and Martha were active in the Mitchell High School Booster Club when their sons were in high school. He was an avid sports fan. He especially loved watching the NY Yankees and the Colorado Rockies. Dan has resided at Liberty Heights for the past 11 years, always enjoying a lively poker game and Bingo.
Dan is survived by his sons Vince (Jane) and Greg (Kathy); his grandchildren Laura Flanigan (Travis), Gina Dasso (Ryan), Megan Biondi and Daniel (Sarah) Biondi and great-grandchildren Leah and Allyson Flanigan and Gavin and Sophia Dasso.
He will be remembered for his gentle nature and kind soul.
