Our precious angel, Damon Marshall Payne flew softly on silent wings home to our Heavenly Father on July 12, 2017 at Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley, Idaho.
Damon was born on February 11, 2017 and was the son of Josi Rebeca Hernandez and Ryan Marshall Payne of Rupert. Damon was a blessing to his family and his short life will have a lasting impact on all those who knew and loved him.
Damon was a happy, playful baby with chubby cheeks and big brown eyes that sparkled with wonder and mischief. Damon noticed everything around him with great interest and imagination and was eager to explore the world around him. He was a curious boy who loved to be outside where he loved to watch and listen to birds, who gave his full attention to any bright light or loud noises and was intrigued by lawn sprinklers. He would certainly have been a force to be reckoned with as he grew up.
Damon loved people and attention and would happily allow anyone to hold him and enjoyed every playful minute spent with his siblings and cousins. His favorite toys were the ones that made the most noise and of course his best friend, the stuffed elephant. He loved best his mommy and daddy, his brother Kamden and sisters Ava and Deanna.
Damon is survived by his mother, Josi Rebeca Hernandez, father, Ryan J. Marshall Payne, siblings Kamden, Ava Lynn Payne and Deanna Clegg, Maternal grandparents Remijio and Cassie Hernandez of Heyburn, Idaho,
Maternal great grandparents Laurie and Dennis Anderson, Paul Idaho, Frank Gifford of Heyburn, Idaho and great great grandmother Colleen Greaves of Rupert, Idaho. Paternal Grandparents are Wendy Waters of Oakley, Idaho and Frank Payne of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Great grandparents Dennis and Evelyn South of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Conally and Allie Jo Decker of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Rick Lowquaniotiz of Oakley Idaho and great great grandmother Edna Poe of Idaho Falls, Idaho, numerous aunts uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal biological grandmother Penny Louise Wamego and paternal great great grandfather, Albert Jessie Poe, numerous cousins, great grandparents and great great grandparents.
