Dallie Dale Best, age 69, passed away on Tuesday at his residence. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Dallie Dixon Best and Minnie Elizabeth McCullen Best. Dale was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Dale is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joe Ann Best; a daughter and son in law, Melissa Best Woodson (Chris); a son, Kenneth W. Brown, II; brothers, Sherman Best and Ted Best; sister, LaVerne Wiegand; and his grandchildren and great grandchild that he loved so much.
