Dale was 56 years and 4 months old exactly when he passed away April 10, 2016, due to complications from lung cancer. He was a long time resident (over 45 years) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, with the exception of time in the Navy and postings overseas and in Hawaii.
Dale was born December 10, 1959, in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He, his parents, and sister, moved home to Idaho Falls, when he was about three-years old. He dropped out of the 10th Grade in high school but attained his GED with recognition of second highest test scores in the United States for the year 1977. After this achievement he went into the Navy.
While in the Navy he was given an academic award for outstanding achievements in learning.
