Dale H. Wyker, 83, of Allentown, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was the husband of Henrietta “Etta” (DeBellis) Wyker for 51 years. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Earl and Beatrice (Hoffman) Wyker, and graduated from Easton High School in 1948. Dale honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Penn State with a degree of Associate in Engineering of Electrical Technology in 1956 and immediately worked as an electrical engineer for Western Electric for 32 years, until retiring in 1989. He served as a supervisor for Hanover Township Lehigh County, and was a volunteer at the Ecumenical Soup Kitchen in Allentown. Dale was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Allentown, where he served on the finance committee and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Henrietta, are daughters Teri Belick and husband Paul, Kelli Holzman and husband Jeff all of Allentown, Judy Schneider and husband Tony, Lori Fox and husband Tom, Katie Mello and husband Jonathan all of Bethlehem; sisters-in-law Tessie Martin and Honey Mittman of Bethlehem and Bobbie Martin of Fountain Hill; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers Jack and Clair (Butch) Wyker.
