Dale Eugene McAboy, 90, of Ottawa, died on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Dale was born on November 19, 1922, in Clinton, IL, to John Roy and Sarah Eva (Gephart) McAboy. He served his country in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII. Dale married Betty L. Rensch on July 14, 1974, at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Ottawa. He was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #33, and Occidental Lodge #40 AF and AM.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife Betty; a son, John Frederick McAboy; two brothers, Roy and Harry and a sister, JoAnne.
