Dale Everett Davis, age 63, of Jonesboro, IN, died Monday, April 6, 2015, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. He was born to Charles Everett Davis and Irene (Teegarden) Davis on December 4, 1951 in Marion.
Dale graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1969. He worked for several years at the Riverside Cemetery and volunteered during his free time at the Marion VA Hospital.
Dale was a life member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 95 in Jonesboro and was a past commander.
Dale enjoyed sports. He played little league and pony league and then played football and baseball in high school, as well as playing the trumpet in the high school marching band.
Dale is survived by his mother, Irene; one daughter, Shannon Fields, Muncie, IN; sisters Wanda (James) Moore, Upland, IN; Bette Jo (Floyd) Landis, Jonesboro, IN; Margaret (Kevin) McNeely, Gas City, IN; and 3 grandchildren.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Charles; sister Janet Nash; and grandparents A.M. Stella Davis and Paul Lucille Teegarden.
