Dale VanScoyk
Dale Marie Bagley VanScoyk, 94, passed away on Oct. 19, 2011 at Crestwood Care Center in Ogden, Utah. She was born to Parley Eugene and Bertha Charlotte Howell Bagley on March 10, 1917 in Fish Haven, Idaho.
Dale’s family moved from Idaho to Fairview when she was very small and she lived most of her life in Fairview Elementary School and graduated from Star Valley High School in 1936. After graduation, she did housework for several families.
She met her husband, Eddie in January of 1936. They started dating and were married in the Logan LDS Temple on Oct. 4, 1938. They made their home in Fairview where ED was a plumber and carpenter. They had three children: Robert Eddie, Bertha Marie and Johnny Irvin (Johnny died in May of 1998). Ed died in June of 1956. He had been sick for two years with emphysema.
