Dala Michelle “Pumpkin” Burgess Williams, 38, of Moberly, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Moberly Regional Medical Center.
Dala was born in Columbia, MO to Chrissy Burgess on October 20, 1977. She went to school at Moberly Senior High, where she graduated in 1996. She married Sean Williams on January 12, 2007 in Moberly. She graduated from Strawn Nursing School located in Columbia, MO in 2000. She worked as an LPN for North Village Nursing Home & Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation and Moberly Regional Medical Center for many years. She also worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Walmart and Sam’s Healthmart. She loved life, especially being involved with her three boys, family, friends, Facebook, going to the boat and playing bingo.
Dala is preceded in death by her Grandparents; Linwood Peter Burgess, Sr. “Mr. Peter” and Evelyn Burgess, “Ms. Evie”, and a daughter, Dasani.
Dala is survived by her husband Sean, her children; Dasian, Dayon, and Danian Williams; her mother, Chrissy Burgess all of Moberly; two uncles Donald Arthur and Linwood Burgess both of Moberly; a Great Aunt Carrie Payne of Moberly; cousins Tina and Scottie Arthur of Blue Springs, Deja Burgess, Donnita Arthur, and Alicia Woods all of Columbia, other relatives, friends, and coworkers.
