Daiziana Tanaqua Marie Burton, 19, of Jacksonville, IL, died Friday, July 23, 2021, at Passavant Area Hospital.
She was born Sept. 18, 2001, in Jacksonville the daughter of Michael R. Welch and Ida Marie Burton.
She is survived by her mother of Jacksonville; four sisters, Deadia, Doneille, Dezire and Dahlia Burton, all of Jacksonville; two brothers, Clarence Jones Jr. of Kennett, MO, and Jeremiah Jones of Dyersburg, TN; maternal grandparents, Ida Claybrook of Rock Island, and Thomas Burton of Jacksonville; paternal grandmothers, Melba Welch of Jacksonville and Bonnie Miller of Camp Point; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father who raised her, Michael R. Welch; and one sister, Darkena Burton.
Daiziana was a very centric, talented, compassionate, and bubbly young lady. She loved animals, especially her dog, Simba. She enjoyed singing, gymnastics, dancing and TikTok. She loved her family, especially her godchildren.
