Those left to honor June’s memory are her daughter, Marcia (James) Lockard of Johnston, Iowa; son, Philip Stepp of Kellogg, Iowa; her 5 grandchildren, Dusty Stepp, Terra “TJ” (Andrew) Webb, Tracy Neighbors, Nea (Randy) Huggins, and Hilleary Lockard; 12 great-grandchildren; her 4 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; and her 3 nephews, Paul and Maurice Hesson and Dennis Stepp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Marian (Star) Kendall and husband, Earl Stepp in 2006.
June graduated from high school in Gilmore City, Iowa and then attended and graduated from AIB in Des Moines, Iowa. She later attended the Institute of Certified Travel Agents and received her certificate on August 20, 1981.
June had an active travel career and opened the Hamilton Travel Center of which she was part owner and manager.
