D. Jean Miller age 86 of Ashland passed away Friday April 1, 2011 at Med Central Hospital.
Born on January 12, 1925 in Savannah the daughter of John Leland and Anna F. (Wilson) Farquharson. Mrs. Miller was an Ashland County resident all of her life. She was a thirty two year employee at Cresco and she also helped her husband farm.
On September 14, 1946 Jean was married to Eldon (Bud) Miller who preceded her in death on March 28, 2003.
Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Charlotte and John Russo of Ashland, two grandsons and granddaughters in law, Gavin and Kristina White of Ashland and Jerrod and Wendy White of Michigan. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Jedd White of Ashland, Brooklyn White of Ashland, Madisen White of Ashland and Alexia White of Michigan. One brother and sister in law also survive, William and Marilyn Farquharson of Ashland.
In addition to her husband Bud, Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert Farquharson.
Mrs. Miller is a member of the Savannah Methodist Church and a graduate of the Savannah High School.
She enjoyed quilting and being with her family.
