Czeslaw Gaska, 80, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Regina (Palasz) Gaska. Born in Poland, son of the late Stanislaw and Jozefa (Szydlik) Gaska, he came to New Britain in 1992 and spent the last three weeks prior to his passing with his daughter in FL. Czeslaw was a firefighter in Poland and was employed with Beacon Industries in Newington for many years until his retirement. He was a devout catholic and parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren. A loving father and grandfather, he leaves his four children, Zdislaw Gaska and his wife Jadwiga of Poland, Elzbieta Urbanowicz and her husband Leszek of Farmington, Beata Gaska-Kulesza and her husband Mirek of Palm Coast, FL, and Mariusz Gaska and his wife Jolanta of Newington, 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He also leaves his son-in-law Boguslaw Damiecki. He was predeceased by his daughter Iwona Damiecki, and his siblings, Stanislaw, Jozef, Marianna and Halina.
