Cyrilla (Banich) Torres, 79, of Oglesby, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Mrs. Torres was born on August 24, 1938 in Slovenia to John and Louise (Rom) Banich. She married Joseph Kulis in 1956. He passed away in 1988.

She then married Anthony “Tony” Torres on June 2, 1996. She was a manager for Illinois Bell for more than 37 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oglesby. She was an avid gardener and artist. She is survived by her husband, Tony of Oglesby; one son, Tony (Georgia) Kulis of Oglesby; two grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Kulis-Castrillon and one sister, Ann (Barry) Johnson of Oglesby. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Joseph Kulis. Pallbearers will be Tony Kulis, Michael Kulis, Henry Klieber, Tim Klieber, Randy Pearson and Chris Johnson.
