Cynthia Rose Matthews, 64, of Danvers, died Tuesday evening, in Kaplan Family Hospice House, surrounded by family, after a long battle with COPD. Cynthia was born in Mount Clemens, Mich., on July 11, 1951 and raised in Peabody. She was the daughter of Anebal Paulino and the late Rosalie (Raymond) Paulino and the stepdaughter of Maria Paulino, all of whom were from Peabody. After graduating Peabody High school in 1968, Cindy married her high school sweetheart and attended the Essex Agricultural Nursing Program which began her long career as a well-loved and respected nurse.
