Cynthia J. Pierce, age 55, of Destin, Fla., passed away unexpectedly in a local hospital on Nov. 27, 2012. She was born on April 2, 1957, in Merced, Calif., to Billy and Jeanne McNees Pierce. She had been a resident of the local area since moving here as a sixth grader from California. She was very involved in her work, successfully operating two offices as a massage therapist. All her clients were very special to her and she considered them her special friends, some for as long as 25 years. She enjoyed the beach and outdoors. She loved all animals, especially her own pets, Yoda and Frick, they were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Pierce, and a brother, Keith Pierce. Survivors include her loving mother, Jeanne Pierce, and aunts and uncles.
She will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends and acquaintances she
has made.
