Cynthia “Cindy” M. Loundy, 53 , of Seaside Park, NJ and Hollywood, Fla died on Monday April 20, 2015 at her Ocean Avenue home in Seaside Park, NJ. She was born in Neptune, New Jersey. Cindy is predeceased by her parents Sidney and Adele Loundy. Surviving are her three brothers Michael Loundy and his wife Peg of Pelican Island, NJ, James Loundy and his wife JoAnn of Island Heights, NJ and Jeff Loundy and his wife Veronica of Hollywood, Fla; her nieces and nephews Casey and Maggie, Joseph, Billy , Eric, Ryan, Jacqueline, Sidney and Katie Loundy and her beloved Cat Stuart.
Cindy attended South Broward High School in Hollywood, Fla and graduated from Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township, NJ. Cindy also attended Broward Community College in Davie, Fla and Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Cindy worked for years at her family’s restaurant, Barney’s in Seaside Heights, NJ. She also owned and operated Cindy Suds Laundromat in Seaside, NJ.
She loved reading, gardening and the water having sailed in the Seaside Park Yacht Club Junior Program, boating on Barnegat Bay and spending countless beach days on the Filmore Street beach in Hollywood, Fla with her friends and family. She belonged to the Moose Lodge in Ortley Beach, NJ and American Legion Post 351 in Seaside Heights, NJ.
