Cynthia Ann Dolph-McKenna of Winthrop passed away on January 12, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Robert “Truck” McKenna.

Loving daughter of the late Dr. Robert W. Dolph and Phyllis (Walker) Dolph, NP of Manchester NH.

Devoted mother of Ian Robert McKenna and his wife, Andi McKenna, their children Jack, Charlotte, and Lila of Newburyport, MA and Siobhan Susan (McKenna) Simonetti and her husband Michael Simonetti of East Boston.

Dear sister of Kimberly (Dolph) Carey and her husband Tim Carey of Haddam Neck, Ct, the late Susan (Dolph) Leach and her husband Dan Leach of Manchester, NH and the late Robert T. Dolph and his wife Nancy (Schneider) Dolph of Stratford, CT.

Cherished grandmother of Alani Rios of East Boston.

She loved all her nieces and nephews and stalked them relentlessly on Facebook, and their children Wilder Kline and Molly Susan Leach – whom she had hoped to meet and will be
watching over. Cindi lived life to its fullest. She rolled around in the mud at Woodstock. She marched for women’s rights. She was a die-hard liberal who loved a good political debate. Her happiest place was at the beach on a summer day. She was a friend of Bill W and never let a fellow friend in need down. She was a first responder, a caring nurse, and after retirement, she enjoyed cuddling babies in the neonatal intensive care unit at MGH. But most of all, she loved being ‘Nanny’ to her Alani.
