Cynthia Balk, 69, of Franklin Lakes, NJ, previously Quakertown & Palmerton, died Tuesday morning in Manor Care-Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was the widow of William “Butch” Balk. Born in Annapolis, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Sally (Lampher) Boyer. Cindy worked as a waitress and clerk for bakeries and at the former Laneco, Quakertown. She is survived by her sons Eric, with whom she had resided and John, wife Alicia, of Palmerton.
