Mr. Curtis “Curt” McKenzie was born on November 7, 1947 in Plant City (Knight Station), Florida to the late Catherine Lawrence McKenzie and Willie Frank McKenzie. He attended schools in Plant City. He moved to Tampa in his 20’s and he resided in Tampa for over 50 years.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Willie McKenzie; sisters, Dorothy Cooper, Phelvia Williams and Willie Jane Gillette; brothers, Frank McKenzie and Willie James McKenzie; nephew, Andre “Mike” Williams; niece, Deborah Gant Brown; and, great niece, Chandra Gant Brown.
