Curtis E. Gilbert, 59, died Monday March 14, 2016 in Indianapolis.
He was a resident of Indianapolis.
He is survived by his parents, Prentiss “Tex” and Carol R.(Caudell) Gilbert of Indianapolis, aunts, Shirley Caudell, Dixie Warren, Rita Steele, uncles, Ralph Caudell and Ernest George Gilbert,and cousin, Mike Bowling.
Curtis graduated from Indiana Baptist College, with a degree in Music.
He was a member of the Suburban Baptist Church, where he enjoyed playing the organ and piano. He studied to be a piano repair and tuner. Curtis wrote three religious songs.
