Crystal Michelle Garcia age 36 of Lakewood Colorado, formerly of Raton, New Mexico passed away December 13th, 2020 with family by her side after courageously battling illness for several months. Heaven surely gained another angel on this day, and she will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Crystal leaves behind her partner John Sandoval of Lakewood, and her parents Mike Garcia and Ruth Grine of Raton, Grandmother and Grandfather Hellen and Robert Grine of Raton, Sister Nicole and family of Raton, Sister Eva Olson and family of Grand Junction, Brother Shawn Garcia and family of Grand Junction and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Crystal was proceeded in death by her beloved Grandma Eva Garcia of Raton. Crystal was a kind, caring, and loving soul. She had a degree in nursing and loved to take care of all of her patients. She was a prankster that loved to have fun teasing and cracking jokes and sharing them with friends and family. She was full of life and brought smiles to all that knew her. Crystal enjoyed the simple things in life and enjoyed having a good time with friends and family. She loved going to concerts and being entertained. Although sadly Crystal did not have a lot of years in her life, she certainly put a lot of life in her years.
Crystal took great pride in her work. She was a celebrity in Denver area drilling circles for her knowledge and work ethic. Despite battling illness Crystal fought through the pain and anguish to complete her work and help keep the business and employees going strong up until her very last days. Crystal was always up for adventure, she and John vacationed in some great places but also found a way to make everyday a bit of an adventure. Crystal clearly left us too soon. None of us were ready to say goodbye. Crystal would want us to honor her memory by living our best life and by being kind to others. Crystal will be missed dearly, and will remain in the hearts of her family, friends and all who loved her.
Her memory will live in our hearts forever.
