Craig Jon Meyers, son of Clarence and Myrna (Van Haaften) Meyers, was born April 28, 1954, in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Craig was a 1972 graduate of Monroe High School. On January 10, 1975, Craig was united in marriage to Sherry Rouw. To this union they were blessed with two children: Jenny and Cory.  Craig worked for the Otley Co-op for 46 years and retired May 18, 2021.  During his 46 years he thoroughly enjoyed helping the farmers with their grain business and valued the friendships he made along the way. Craig was a devoted and caring husband, and enjoyed 47 years of marriage with Sherry. They enjoyed golfing, going to movies, and taking road-trips to try new places to eat and explore new areas.  Craig had a gift of gab, never met a stranger and loved talking on the phone. In his retirement, he had regular phone conversations with friends that often lasted for hours.  Craig was known to tell many stories about the crazy times he had “back in the day”, and his contagious laugh and infectious chuckle was always part of the story.  Craig was also a problem solver. If something broke he would work tirelessly to figure out a solution, though not always the most conventional solution, it was always fixed in the end. Craig will also be known for his meticulous attention to detail.  Everything had to have a place.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Sherry, his daughter Jenny (Scott) Buitenwerf of Pella, his son Cory (Lorena) Meyers of Galloway, New Jersey; his siblings: Debbie Vander Linden of Pella, Vicki Meyers of Knoxville, Marty (Evonn) Meyers of Osage Beach, Missouri, and sister-in-law Lori (Curtis) Meyers of Pella. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Anna Mae Rouw of Pella, and siblings-in-law: Sandy (Kevin) Williams of Katy, Texas, Sally (Howie) Splittgerber of Carlisle, Iowa, and Scott Rouw of Willis, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Myrna Meyers, brother Curtis Meyers, brother-in-law Leo Vander Linden, father-in-law Albert Rouw, and nephew William Aaron Barr.
