Passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the age of 60. Craig was born in Grand Rapids, MI on June 16, 1955, the son of Cecil James “Mike” Annable and Joanne (Foster) Annable. He graduated from Wyoming Lee High School, where he was All-State in football, baseball, and wrestling. While in high school, he was also involved in the arts. He attended North Central Michigan College, then transferred to Adrian College, receiving his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry. Craig was currently employed as an Engineer by Eaton Corporation.

He was a faithful member of Calvary Bible Church for eighteen years, serving as a high school youth leader for sixteen years. He was involved in the Kalamazoo Men’s Bible Study Fellowship for five years and loved all of his men. He served as a Teaching Leader for two of those years. He was an avid sports fan, especially of baseball and softball. He was active in Mattawan sports, coaching in Little League and AYSO Soccer. He also enjoyed volunteering as a statistician for the Mattawan High School Football team. He was an active member of the Maritime Heritage Alliance of Traverse City. Along with his wife, Lisa, he was one of the original builders of the ninety-two foot schooner, Madeline. He made several voyages on the vessel as a mate. Craig was married to Lisa (Childress) Annable on September 19, 1981; she survives him.

He is also survived by his two children, Jessica (Ben) Lake and Christian James Annable (Stephanie Polomcak); two grandchildren, Lyric Annabelle Lake and Atlas Evander Lake; mother, Joanne Annable; two sisters and one brother, Cindy Annable, Terri (Brian) George, and Dr. Michael (Ann Murray) Annable; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Childress; sister-in-law, Beth Childress; two uncles and one aunt; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil James “Mike” Annable; sister, Karen Shirley; and father-in-law, Eugene L. Childress.
