Coy Lee Funderburg

Coy Lee Funderburg of Grapevine, Arkansas was born December 15, 1929 in Grapevine, the son of the late Watson M. and Yuna O. Waddle Funderburg. He was a member of Pine Bluff First Presbyterian Church and had retired from the Cotton Belt railroad. He enjoyed building, gardening and being outside. Mr. Funderburg was a very humble man, who was a wonderful Godly example to his children and grandchildren. He loved his family and raised them “by the Book.” Mr. Funderburg died at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 84.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Vernon Funderburg, Regal Funderburg and a sister, Louise Ross.He is survived by his best friend and wife of 62 years, Neria Dale Lowman Funderburg, sons, Gary and wife Melba Funderburg, all of Grapevine, Hugh and wife Sherry Funderburg of Banks, Charles Funderburg of Grapevine, daughter, Vicki and husband Ronnie Lightsey of Grapevine, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
