Mr. Corri Edward Conway, b.k.a. “Cool Cat Corri,” of Tampa, Florida, was called to eternal rest on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

Corri was born on February 9, 1974, to his parents, William E. Conway, Jr. and Carol J. Copney-Conway in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The family moved to Tampa in 1984. Corri attended Brandon High School, where he graduated with the class of 1992. He worked for Verizon as a Fiber Network Field Technician for over 15 years. Corri was a diehard Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Whenever you saw Corri, you saw his big smile, and of course, heard his loud music blasting from his car.

Corri was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William E. Conway, Sr. and Margaret Conway; maternal grandparents, Edward C. Copney and Eleanor Copney.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, father, William E. Conway, Jr. and mother, Carol J. Copney-Conway; only daughter, Alexis Conway; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Hobbs and Jasani Rogers; one stepdaughter, Ganea Brown; two dogs, Buddy and Brownie; one brother, Marvin Conway (Kimberly); two sisters, Tiffani Conway and Jasmine Copney; aunt, Helen M. Copney; nieces, Latoya, Celena, Cecilia, Mckenzie, McKaylee and Makayla; nephews, DeAndre, Dayveon, Kedric, Atman, Curtis and Will; best friends, Zackary Roberts, Jr., Joe Thirdkill, Alvin Lawrence and Craig Ellis; and, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and the Brandon High School Class of “92”.
