Correna Eileen “Corky” Campbell Correna Eileen “Corky” Campbell, age 50, of Centralia, IL, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, at Warren G. Murray Center, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Correna was born on December 3, 1964, in Centralia, IL, a daughter to Roy D. Campbell and Billie Jo (Self) Miller.

Correna is survived by her mother, Billie Jo Miller, and step-father, Jesse J. Miller; four brothers, Rodney (Angie) Miller of Centralia, IL, Randy (Deanna) Miller of Centralia, IL, Kevin Miller of Carbondale, IL, and Rob (Laurie) Miller of Centralia, IL; one sister, Michelle Hicks of Centralia, IL; very special aunts, Cathy Nehring, Jane Aaron, and Barbara (Jack) Scanlan all of Centralia, IL; two uncles, George Smith of Centralia, IL and John (Denise) Haney of Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Roy and Opal Self; grandfather Paul Campbell and grandmother, Cora Haney; two aunts, Betty Smith, and June St. Peter; and four uncles, Jim Campbell, Terry Campbell, Larry Campbell, and Doug Campbell.

Correna was a member of the Church of Christ in Centralia and had previously worked as a CNA at Fireside Nursing Home where she greatly enjoyed taking care of her residents. She enjoyed fishing, singing, writing poems for her family, and spending time with family and friends. She was dearly loved by the staff at Warren G. Murray Center, which has been home for Correna for the past 28 years. Correna was a generous spirit with a kind heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
