Cornelia M. (Hassler) Scott, 89, of Peru, passed away, Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Manor Court, of Peru. Mrs. Scott was born July 25, 1925, in Peru to Edward and Marie (Woerner) Hassler.
She married Warren A. Scott on March 31, 1948, at Zion United Church of Christ in Peru. He died on September 2, 2012. She worked as a bookkeeper for WLPO for many years and also work part-time at the First Congregational Church in LaSalle as a secretary. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Peru.
She is survived by one sister, Renata (John) Sittler of Wausau, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister, Marie Ensor; and one brother, Rueben Hassler.
