Corene Surface, 81, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away February 8th, 2020 in Indianapolis.
The Johnson County native was born August 7th, 1938 to the late Elmer Dewbrew and Pauline Hendrick Dewbrew. She married Russell A. Surface who preceded her in death.
Corene loved cooking, gardening and entertaining her grandchildren.
Corene is survived by: two daughters, Cathy Loy (Ivan) of Rockville, IN and Tammy L. Surface of Virginia; three grandchildren, Joshua Doss, Jacob Doss, and Jessica Surface; three great-grandchildren, Louden Doss, Garrett Doss, and Justin Surface; five siblings, Mary Quintanilla, Thelma Fry, Robert Dewbrew, Clint “Butch” Dewbrew, George Dewbrew and several nieces and nephews.
Corene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Russell E. Surface and a sisters Maybeth Walls.
Per Corene’s wishes, no services are planned.
