Constance Liliana Aniballi Luchetti, 89, of 135 Putnam Avenue, Hamden, CT died suddenly Jan. 3, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Lucas Luchetti in 1973. Mrs. Luchetti was born in West Haven on June 19, 1928, daughter of the late Arduino and Angela Carloni Aniballi. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Lea Luchetti of St. Louis MO; Michael Luchetti of Saco ME; Monique Luchetti of Brooklyn NY; Lucia Luchetti of North Branford CT; Christopher Luchetti of East Bridgewater MA; and two siblings, Arduino Aniballi of Branford CT; and Lucy Ann Mignone of Palm Coast FL; and twelve grandchildren.
Connie (known by friends and family) grew up on Howard Avenue in New Haven, and after studying fashion design at Columbia College in Manhattan opened her own dress shop. She met her husband at the Marchegian Club and they settled in Morgan Point, East Haven to raise their family. She leaves behind many loving relatives and friends. Connie’s love of life was known by everyone that met her.
