NORWICH –BEMENT – Constance Keith Bement, 76, of Crouch Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2006. She was the wife of the late Roberts E. Bement. Born July 12, 1930 at “Upper Grey,” in Colebrook, CT; the daughter of John Osgood Newell and Mary Emerson Keith Newell. She is survived by two sons; Robert Evans Mallett, Jr. and Geoffrey Parsons Mallett; three daughters: Sabra Mallett Liedtke, Virginia Mallett Entenberg and Margaret Emerson White; a brother; John Osgood Newell, Jr. of West Hartford and 5 grandchildren. Constance took art classes and enjoyed both painting and drawing throughout her life. She also was on the board of directors at Reliance House, where her positive attitude toward life was obvious to those who worked with her.
