Life Long Resident of Stoughton
STOUGHTON – Constance A. (Ames) Fobes, 90 of Stoughton, wife of the late Howard L. Fobes, died at home on Thursday after a long illness.
Born in Dorchester, the daughter of the late Herbert W. and Bertha L. (Crowther) Ames. She graduated from Stoughton High School and attended the former Leland Power School of Boston
She worked for many years at the former J.W. Woods Elastic Web Co. as a secretary. She was also a teachers aide at the E.A. Jones school in Stoughton.
