Conrad L. Gaunt, 86, Anderson, passed away December 6, 2009 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. He was an Anderson native and resided in Edgewood for 49 years until moving to Vermillion Place in 2005. Connie was a Chemical Engineer with Delco Remy Division of General Motors for 38 years until his retirement. Connie had been active in scouting and volunteered as a tutor at Edgewood School as well as being an active member of First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, John T. Gaunt of Sholow, Arizona and Lynn Gaunt of Anderson; three grandchildren, Brooke Wyman, Thomas Haley and Anjelica Gaunt and Two great granddaughters, Chloe and Ava McCord.
He also leaves many cherished friends and other relatives He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Betty Funk Gaunt; parents, O. M. & Ruth Stewart Gaunt; and one grandchild, Christopher Wyman.
