Connie G. Wampler, 49, of Bloomington passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born August 20, 1963 in Long Beach, California, she was the daughter of Dwight A. and Phyllis A. (Barnes) Volz. Connie was a 1981 graduate of Bloomington High School South where she played volleyball.
She was a Group Leader of Critical Care Quality Control at Cook Inc. for 16 years and a member of the Landmark Church. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt she enjoyed playing softball and watching her nephews pole vault.
Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Michael H. Wampler, her daughter, Madison Ann Wampler the light of her life, her father, Dwight A. Volz all of Bloomington, one sister, Peni Volz of Indianapolis, one brother, David Volz (Marci), nephews, Drake, Drew and Deakin Volz all of Bloomington. Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis A. (Barnes) Volz.
