Durham-Connie Lee Ray, 78, of Durham died on Monday, December 31, 2012. He was the son of the late George Connie Ray and Katie Bell Stanley Ray. Mr. Ray served in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed painter. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his three daughters Lisa Anne Ray of Lynchburg, VA; Sandra Lee Brown and husband William of Tampa, Fl; and Karen Marie Bongardt of Springlake, NC; three sisters Marie King of West Palm Beach, Fl; Elsie Goss of New Hill, NC; Mary Ann Saitta of Durham; two grandchildren Nikiya Lee Shipp and Alicia Michelle Westerhoff, two great grandchildren.
