Connie L. Johnson 75, of Camp Verde, Arizona passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 3, 2020. She was born September 13, 1944in Flagstaff, Arizona to the late Mary and Ray Montoya. She moved to Camp Verde in November 2019 where she lived with her oldest daughter. She loved to crochet and embroider, love to cook for her kids and grandchildren. She loved to be around family and always had her door open to almost everyone. She had a heart of gold very friendly and caring she would have given her shirt off her back for her kids and grandchildren. Connie was survived by her children Toni (Tom) O’Neil, Patrick Diaz, David Villa, Jackie (Manuel) Vazquez, Jay R (Kassie) Johnson and Iliana Samudio. She has 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Richard L. Montoya and sister Mary Zepeda. She was preceded in death by her brother Gilbert Montoya. She will be deeply missed.
