Concetta “Connie” Elizabeth DeNino, 87, of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Hospital of Central CT. She was born January 28, 1927 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Antoinette (Giannantonio) DeNino from Pratotola Peligna, Italy. Connie graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1945. In 1951 she moved to Washington, D.C. While there, she worked for the Federal Government as a secretary in the office of Chinese Affairs, retiring in 1993.
