Clyde Wheeler, 90, died on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice). He was born in Benton, Florida, the son of the late Benjamin & Janie Robinson Wheeler. He served our country faithfully with the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He lived most of his life afterwards (1948-1999) in Jacksonville, working with the railroad at Fruit Growers Express. In 1999 he moved to Lake City where he has resided for the past 13 years.
