Clyde Freeman Hodges, age 88, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Judith L. Hodges, Buford, GA; children, Michael and Laura Hodges, Birmingham, AL and Pamela, and Mark Watkins, Hoschton, GA; stepchildren, Maurice Walters and wife, Mary Jean Pajak, Washington, DC, Gerald Scott and Faith Walters, Elijay, GA, Sarah, and Jamey Hope, Homer, GA and Robert Walters and wife, Carolyn Martin, Portland, OR; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Hodges was born on April 11, 1932, in Sevierville, TN.

He was a 1950 graduate of Sevier County High School in Sevierville, TN, and attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mr. Hodges was a veteran of the Marine Corp having served for two years and sixteen months in Korea in the Army Reserve and retired as a Major. He retired as a safety engineer from Oberdorfer Insurance Agency with sixteen years of service. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Hodges enjoyed gardening and watching the University of Tennessee football.
