Clinton Scott Meyer, age 21, of Rensselaer, passed away at Jasper County Hospital on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Clinton was born in Rensselaer on July 17, 1990, the son of Brian Meyer and Daphne (Smith) Meyer.
Clinton was a 2010 graduate of Rensselaer Central High School. He was currently a farm hand, working with his Uncle Tom on the farm. He attended the Northern House of Prayer and enjoyed Bible Study with his friends and family.
Clinton loved snowmobiling, mudding and working on his truck. He enjoyed farm animals and had shown beef calves in 4-H, of which he was a 9-year member. He liked to experiment with cooking and always appreciated a good steak.
Clinton liked to go to Hooters and enjoyed spending time with his friends. Surviving are his loving family, Brian Meyer and Daphne Meyer, Parents, of Rensselaer; Kolton James Meyer, Brother, and Casidee Brianne Meyer, Sister; Maternal Grandparents, Connie Amsler and John Smith, Paternal Grandparents, LaVerne and Nancy Meyer; Aunts and Uncles, Jodie and Rich Marino, Lorie and Jarod Barber, Thomas and Linda Meyer and Jan and Brad DeWees and numerous cousins.
