Clifton Williams traded time for eternity on Thursday, August 16, 2018 while at the Jackson Health Care Facility in Jackson, AL.  He was born March 12, 1937 to Willie and Nandell Frowner Williams.  Educated in the Clarke County Public Schools, he graduated from Old Harper High School in Jackson, AL.  After serving his country through the US Army, General Motors Assembly Lineman was his way of life until his retirement.  A member of the Mt. Olive #2 Baptist Church in Jackson, AL, he loved cooking, sharing the Word of God, baseball and an avid Alabama fan.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie and Nandell Williams; eight brothers, Richard Williams, Willie Jackson, Mackaniel Williams, George Williams, Willie Williams, Jr., John Lee Williams, James Mack Williams, and Allen Williams, Sr.; ten sisters, Margaret Davis, Lottie Martin, Marie Williams, Mamie Lee Williams, Hattie Williams, Sally Peoples, Nandell Thompson, Virginia McClain and Annie Mae Smith.

Clifton leaves to forever cherish his memories his son, Andre Williams, Detroit, MI; daughter, Monica (Demond) Martin, Toddtown, AL; two sisters, Mary Bracy and Doris Watson, both of Jackson, AL; nine grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
